Story with whatever, day something or other.

Here’s what I think.  There are a lot of bugs out there that are dying needlessly.  I read about it in the newspapers; I see clips on the news; I get Facebooked and instagramed; now I am even getting junk-mailed.  It’s a real problem.  It’s time that we, as a community, stand up against this atrocity.  It is time for us to be heard.

Two days ago, I was in Ferguson, Missouri, hired by the Washington Post, to cover the aftermath of the local police department action against a small infestation of Periplaneta Americana. The fatal gassing of numerous unarmed insects was caught on body cameras, which have been widely viewed around the country, and in parts of Europe.  Since then, tens of local residents have flooded the streets in anger.  What started as peaceful protest has transformed into riots, as journalists from all over the world congregate at the local MacDonald’s on Florissant Avenue, to witness the event.

How many times have we walked the streets only to find some squashed bug before us?

How often have we wanted to step on the poor insect that scurries from our path?

I understand your quandary and your confusion and I am here for you.

I have studied the sacred art of Motivational Speaking as professed by the renowned Dale Carnegie and I can help set you free.

I can help you find your inner self.  Come to me and I will provide you the key.

It is time that we stand together

Hand in Hand

And say “NO” to the man.

Can we do it?  Yes we can!

Listen to the cricket in the night, the katydid in the early morning, before the sun arises.  Hear the gentle buzz of the mayfly, the whine of the mosquito.

Watch the work of the ant or the perseverance of the Rhinoceros beetle.  Allow yourself freedom from the bonds of Orkin.  You no longer need follow the doctrine of Terminex.  You are now your own master, free of the twisted false science of Entomology.  We are one.

And for just a very small contribution to our organization, we can send this message to the millions of lost and lonely souls across the country.  Just login to our website, saveabug.org and see what your donation can do.
