Story With No Title Day 55
Urgent broadcast:
“A mass depopulation of cockroaches has been observed since the beginning of the 21st century in Russia and other countries of the former USSR. Observers have noted a quick disappearance of various types of cockroaches from cities and towns in Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Moldova, and Belarus.” (Komsomolskaya Pravda)

There are numerous entomologists rigorously studying the problem and a number of possible causes have been identified. One of the more compelling theories posits a changing diet, now including increased amounts of pesticides, herbicides and other similar food additives. Other possibilities include climate related changes and the use of various chemical weapons. There are also science deniers who are attributing this mass genocide, now being compared to the Vinnytsia massacre of 1938-39, to the result of improved local and governmental hygiene. There is additional concern regarding radiation. “Bозможно, виновата высокочастотная мобильная связь, действующая не только на человека, но и на насекомых, которые более чувствительны к таким излучениям.” (Корреспондент.net) If this theory holds, it would clearly be additional evidence of the potential harm from high-frequency mobile towers.

On ground level, this clearly ranks with the Great Plague, Yersinia pestis, which decimated the population of Europe and Asia in 1347, leading to many false and frequently harmful treatments.
Following the death of an infected rat colony, “hungry rat fleas turn on humans. From the bite site, the
contagion drains to a lymph node that consequently swells to form a painful bubo, most often in the groin, on the thigh, in an armpit or on the neck. Hence the name bubonic plague. The infection takes three–five days to incubate in people before they fall ill, and another three–five days before, in 80 per cent of the cases, the victims die. Thus, from the introduction of plague contagion among rats in a human community it takes, on average, twenty-three days before the first person dies.”
But what of the cockroaches? What is their pain and suffering?
Not surprisingly, there has been little notice of the depopulation since it started and the assembled information is sparse. Clearly, much is required to address this emerging pandemic. Are you ready to help?

Stop the dangerous cockroach plague
I have started a petition to get our representatives to fund the research that will halt the spread of this plague. I already have two signatures with a goal of ten. Can you help?
Add your name and show your support. We can do it!
Dear President Trump,
The rapid disappearance of various species of cockroaches is a call for action. Let us to join forces and address this rapidly. Please support immediate efforts to fund research and development to halt this pandemic annihilation of the innocent. Let us act together.
